What is something that not everyone knows about you?

I’m engaged in many different projects and I’m way too eager to take part in new things. I’m open, social and easily approachable. Still, I might seem like a quiet person.

I will also participate in solving different problems on my own initiative. It might take a while for me to bring up my own solutions. I don’t want to disregard other people’s opinions because I think that everyone should be heard.

What was the spark that inspired you to join Identio?

I visited Identio’s old office during the recruiting process. It was afternoon. I noticed that they worked completely differently than on any of my previous workplaces. The idea that this could be the ideal workplace excited me right away.

The atmosphere was relaxed and made me think of a living room. It felt like I had stepped into someone’s house. They were sitting on the couch and talking about mundane things, hobbies and programming.

What drives you in your work?

I learn something new about the IT field every day. It might be something small, like using an editor or a little thing about coding.

I also find my colleagues, the internal Slack and sparring to be important. We have a programming channel in Slack. There we discuss many new things. I often notice that the others know more than I do. It inspires me to learn more.

What would you like to tell your future colleague?

Don’t hesitate to join us, even if you are an introvert. Push the boundaries. Even if you were new in the company, everyone will want to be your friend. At Identio, no-one is just an employee. We are all friends here.

No-one will expect you to immediately know what you want to do or how you want to progress your career. You will get there later, and it is constantly changing.
